|Gionee Elife E6|
Gionee Philippines is one of the recent brand that enters the local competition for smartphone, although they are not really a local brand of any sort. The company is based in Shenzhen China, they have their own manufacturing and research center. They already established a good reputation in other country like India, and they want to push their luck in our country as well.
Although unknown to many, the company released their Elife Series and their current announcement is the E6. The E6 is the successor of the E3 and will be unveiled at a gathering in Beijing on July 10, it will boast a 5" 1080p display, 1.5 GHz Quad Core CPU (MediaTek MT6589T Chipset), 13MP BSI main camera and 5MP secondary camera for video calling. According to GizChai it will also have a 2GB of RAM.
- 5-inch capacitive display, multi-touch, Full HD resolution
- Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1
- 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 Quad Core CPU, PowerVR SGX544MP GPU, MediaTek MT6589T Chipset
- 2GB of RAM
- 13MP BSI Main Camera, Full HD Video Capture at 30FPS
- 5MP Front Camera, 720p Video Calling
Although some specifications are missing I believe it will have similar connectivity sets to that of E3, Dual SIM Dual Standby, 3G (probably 42 Mbps HSPA+ because of the newer MT6589T chipset), WiFi, BT, GPS and the usual arrays of sensors.
