|Galaxy Tab 3 Kids|
Samsung finally confirms the latest addition to their Tab line-up, the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids. The 7-inch tablet is designed for kids with special pre-loaded software that are suitable for them plus it also features a parental control to limit what they can do or access. The case is also made attractive to them and protects the unit from accidental drop.
To control the applications that the child can access, they included an Application Manager which restricts or limit the apps available for them. Time Management is also there to allow specific time for the usage. There will also be a Kid's Store to download additional apps.
The Tab 3 Kids is quite powerful too, basically it is a modified version of the original Tab 3. It has a dual-core processor, 8GB of onboard storage and 1GB of RAM for superb multitasking. There will also be cameras for both front and back, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB and 4000mAh battery to power it up.
The device will be running Android Jelly Bean 4.1 out of the box. This could be a great alternative to Fisher Price and Leap Pad which are expensive but with limited to no functionality.
