|Samsung Galaxy Gear|
The IFA Consumer Electronics Show in Berlin is fast approaching, and according to Bloomberg, Samsung will unveil its first ever smartwatch - the Galaxy Gear on September 4 two days before the said event. The global industry is expected to garner around $60 billion in sales and those who arrived at giving the best experience will be the benchmark.
According to another leak from SamMobile, the device will feature Samsung Exynos 4212 dual core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, Mali-400 MP4 GPU and coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Gear will have a 1.67-inch AMOLED display, a 2MP camera and Bluetooth plus NFC for its connectivity.
If the rumor is to be trusted, everything looks promising so lets wait until its official announcement and hopefully it won't be that expensive. Could this be the answer to Apple's smartwatch? If yes which side are you at?
