Alcatel finally unveiled their new flagship at the IFA in Berlin, the Alcatel One Touch Hero. The Hero packs a 6-inch Full HD IPS display powered by a 1.5GHz quad core CPU (probably MT6589T), 2GB of RAM, 8/16GB of on-board storage and 3400mAh battery.

The specs were the same with the leaked One Touch Scribe Pro last August 17. It sports a 13MP main camera and 2MP secondary camera and stylus for creating notes and sketches. The most innovative parts are the optional covers, the E-ink that lets you read magazine or news paper without turning on the main screen and the Magic Flip with LED Notifications.

There is also Bluetooth companion phone (like HTC Mini+) that lets you read SMS notification or place a call without pulling out the Hero. The is also a pico-projector (12Lumens and up to 70") which you can use for watching pleasures or presentation.

  1. Alcatel has existed since 80s and I'm sure they named something "Hero" before HTC did. What a great-looking device!
