BlackBerry Z30 Now Official: 5-inch Super AMOLED

BlackBerry Z30

BlackBerry finally joined the "phablet" bandwagon with the official announcement of the New BlackBerry Z30 with 5-inch HD (1280x720) Super AMOLED display, dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. The successor of the Z10 will be shipped with the latest BlackBerry 10 OS ( version 10.2).

Aside from being the first BlackBerry smartphone to venture on 5-inch screen it will also have a 2880mAh battery which is the largest battery the company put on their phone, sadly it is non-user replaceable. It will have a 16GB of on-board storage and like the Z10 it will have a micro SD slot for expansion up to 64GB.

Connectivity wise, it will sport dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, LTE, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. On the camera department, the back will have f2.2 lens capable of shooting 8MP still and 1080p videos, while the front facing has 2MP sensor capable of shooting 720p videos.

Pricing and availability are not disclosed but expect that it will arrive in the Philippines soon either via its distributor or thru the Telcos.
