LTE-Enabled Nokia Lumia 625 Landed In The Philippines For Php13,200

Nokia Lumia 625

The Nokia Lumia 625 was announced last July and after two months it landed in the country for Php13,200. This is the cheapest LTE-Enabled device on the Lumia line and so far the largest display at 4.7-inch. It runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 and eligible for Amber update.

The screen has a resolution of WVGA (which is a bit low for today's standard) and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 but instead of Clear Black Display it uses an IPS LCD. Like the Lumia 620 it has 5MP main camera but it can now shoot 1080p videos.

Key Specs:

  • Quad Band GSM/EDGE/GPRS, Tri-Band HSPA+, Tri-Band LTE
  • 4.7" capacitive WVGA (800x480) IPS LCD, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 Protection
  • Microsoft Windows Phone 8, Upgradeable to Windows 8 Amber
  • 1.2GHz Dual Core CPU, Adreno 305 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon Chipset
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 64GB via micro SD
  • 5MP auto focus main camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording
  • VGA secondary camera
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • Stereo FM Radio with RDS
  • 3.5mm Audio Jack
  • Micro USB 2.0
  • Bluetooth v4.0
  • GPS with A-GPS Support and GLONASS
  • 2000mAh Li-Ion Battery

It will available in Black, White, Orange, Bright Green and Yellow. It is a good buy if you are inclined to Windows Phone and like to have a blazing mobile internet speed with its LTE capability. The question here is if it will still be supported  in the future since Microsoft already acquire Nokia.
