Huawei Philippines announced on their Facebook page that they slashed the price of their former Android flagship smartphone, the Huawei Honor 2, from Php10,990 to Php7,990.

The specs is almost similar with the D1 Quad XL which is currently on sale for the same price tag. We usually find bargain quad-core phones from local brands but seldom do we see it from bigger names.

It is quite refreshing that Huawei made this possible, looking forward for the Ascend P2 LTE, Ascend Mate and P6 to have similar price tags soon.
