The Music+Videos handles your music, videos, FM radio as well as podcasts. The good thing here is that you can upload to your device the music or videos from your computer by simply using the copy+paste method since the Lumia 1020 acts as external storage when connected to your PC.
Music and videos can also be synchronized with your Xbox Music account.
There is an equalizer on board the 1020 but it is disabled by default, to enable it together with other enhancements like Dolby Headphone you need to go to settings>audio.
The musics are listed alphabetically and can be viewed by artist, albums, songs, playlist or genre.
If a song has an album art it will be displayed accordingly when played. While a song is playing and you minimized it, a mini player will appear at the top of the lockscreen (it will be gone after a while but you can always access it by pressing the volume rocker).
The videos will be listed with their corresponding thumbnail and title. The video player itself has very limited controls, just the usual pause, fast forward and rewind with the addition of the full screen toggle.
The player can play up to 1080p .mp4 and .3gp videos, but other videos files like .flv, .mka and those with AC3 audio are not playable.
The FM Radio needs a wired headset to work, the interface is very simple you can swipe left or right to locate the channel you want. If you want to add a certain station to your preset just hit the star with +, to check your favorite channels simply click the star icon on the lower left. If you want to play the broadcast to loudspeaker, press and hold the channel and the option 'switch to speaker' will appear.
The camera is the main important aspect of the Lumia 1020, without its 41MP sensor it will just be a regular Windows Phone. We will tackle first the default camera interface before we go deeper in the more complicated camera lenses.
|Default Camera Settings|
The default camera can only store your photos in a 5MP pixel resolution, there is no option to increase it even you change the aspect ratio. On the other hand, it can capture video in either 720p or 1080p both @ 30 fps and only with Mono Audio.

Settings you can adjust for photos are scenes, ISO, exposure, white balance, aspect ratio and focus assist light while for the video you can change the white balance and continuous focus.
There is also a basic photo editor, you can use it to rotate the image, crop it and fix it.
