Archos, a pioneer in portable multimedia Android devices, announced at Mobile World Congress in Spain their first ever Octa-Core smartphone - the Archos 50c Oxygen.

The 50c is the flagship device from the Oxygen series, it sports a 5-inch HD IPS display powered by a MediaTek MT6592 Octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz each. There is only 1GB of RAM, which I believed the reason why they opt to HD screen instead of full HD. The internal storage is only 8GB but you can expand it using a micro SD card.

This dual SIM dual standby device has an 8MP auto focus BSI main camera with LED flash at its back which can record 1080p videos. The front camera employs a 2MP sensor for your self-portray photo needs. It is only 6.7mm thin, but Archos managed to fit a 2000mAh battery.
