|Samsung Gear and Gear Neo|
Samsung officially introduced its latest innovation in wearable tech, the Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear 2 Neo. Both devices have strong similarities with the Samsung Galaxy Gear, however, they incorporated the home button in the body just below the display.
Basically, the two companion devices have the same specifications except for the camera wherein the Gear 2 has one while the Gear 2 Neo has none most probably to lessen the cost. Both devices have 1.63-inch Super AMOLED screen with 320x320 resolution powered by a 1GHz dual core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
Aside from connecting to a wide variety of Samsung devices, it can also act as a stand alone music player, just load its 4GB of internal storage with your choice of audio files. It can also control several electronic products like TV with its embedded IrLED via the WatchOn Remote application.
Both devices will be available around the globe starting the second quarter of the year.
