Kata Digital Launched Their Very Own Cloud Service - The  Kata Cloud

The Cloud service of Kata Digital was first introduced during the consumer launch of the Kata M1. At that time, the app is called Fish Cloud, but recently they renamed it to Kata Cloud.

Kata users get a FREE 5GB (10GB for M1 owners) of cloud storage, which you can use to automatically backup your photos, videos and other files. There is also an option to upgrade it to a whopping 200GB, however, Kata did not reveal yet pricing for this.

Kata did not mention if you can also access and manage your files via Web, or if there is an app you can download for your computer or non-Kata devices. We do hope it has, otherwise it will fall short to other cloud services like DropBox, Etc.

  1. You can not access it through the web.
So you back up your files to the Kata cloud. Say your phone gets lost or malfunctions, what do you do? how do you recover your files? ...
You have to buy another Kata phone to access it. Is this a hoax or what?
