|3M Philippines Displays Next Generation Electronics at the PSECE 2014|
The Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines, Incorporated (SEIPI) held the Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Convention and Exhibition 2014 (PSECE) at the SMX Convention Center.
The event was participated and attended by professionals, students and government officials with PEZA Director-General Dr. Lilia de Lima as guest of honor.
With electronic products being the Philippines’ top export, the event’s theme is “Manufacturing and R&D: Leveling Up the Philippines’ Capabilities”. Exhibitors, particularly 3M Philippines, adhered to the theme to prove that the country is ripe for a boom in the electronics industry. Celebrating their 50th year of innovative existence, 3M Philippines cashed in with a display that is worth a second look.
Through 3M Electronics, they created a two-story booth that caught the attention of everyone in attendance. The display demonstrated 3M’s fusion of recreation and innovation in the form of fashion shows, a hanging chair photo booth, a Lego-formed static display and a functional CPU that is submerged under Novec fire protection liquid. Their efforts helped bag the 36sqm Best Booth Award at PSECE 2014.
