Last June 30, we were invited to a peek at the upcoming ASUS products that they are going to launch locally this coming July 17. During the mini event, we managed to get our hands-on at Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5.

The Zenfone line-up including the 6-phablet was announced way back in January of this year. ASUS executives know that it took them quite some time to bring them into the country, but they promised that the Zenfone series will have a very affordable and competitive price comparable even to that of the local brand's offering.

The Zenfone 4 is the smallest among the series having a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display powered by a 1.2GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM for multitasking. There is an 8GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via micro SD card.
