DTC Mobile Unveiled Brand Ambassadors and New Wave of Products

Yesterday, DTC Mobile made their first ever public launching held at the Midtown Atrium at Robinson's Place Manila wherein they unveiled their brand ambassadors together with a dozen of new products in addition to their existing portfolio.

Last May, they have already introduced five professional basketball athletes as their ambassadors in a close-door media event. Yesterday, they added three more beautiful and gorgeous ladies that excel in their sports career as volleyball players.

The faces of DTC Mobile are the definitely the highlight of the event, but for a tech blogger like me, I was more excited about their new devices and as mentioned earlier they have a total of 12 gadgets that delivers value, style and performance.

  1. P2B Switch - basic phone for Php499
  2. GE3A Gear - basic phone that doubles as 4500mAh powerbank
  3. GT5S Duo Junior - 3.5-inch, 1.2GHz dual core, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM
  4. GT6P Rush - 4-inch WVGA, 1.2GHz dual core, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM
  5. GT6B Blitz - 4-inch WVGA, 1.2GHz dual core, 4GB ROM, 512MB RAM
  6. GT18i Axe - 4.5-inch qHD, 1.3GHz quad core, 4GB ROM, 1GB RAM
  7. GT15A Fiesta Plus - 6-inch HD, 1.3GHz quad core, 8GB ROM, 1GB RAM
  8. GT17A Jupiter Plus - 4.7-inch HD, 1.3GHz quad core, 8GB ROM, 1GB RAM
  9. GT19 Blade - 5-inch qHD, 1.3GHz quad core, 4GB ROM, 1GB RAM
  10. GT19A Helix - 5-inch HD, 1.3GHz quad core, 8GB ROM, 1GB RAM, KitKat
  11. GT21 Neptune - 5-inch HD, 1.7GHz octa core, 16GB ROM, 2GB RAM, KitKat
  12. NX1 - 7-inch HD, 1.3GHz quad core, 8GB ROM, 1GB RAM, KitKat

The two most interesting devices for me are the octa core GT21 Neptune and the 7-inch tablet NX1. Some of the units above are already available on DTC kiosks and stores nationwide while for some we are still waiting for the official pricing and availability from DTC.

  1. Streamline the products to #1, #2, #3, #8, #11 and #12. Match the prices of the other brands having the same specs. Make cost cutting measures on advertising & marketing. That is, to stay on the celfone/tablet market in the Philippines. My personal views, only. But, I can be wrong.
