Computer games can bring emotional heat among competitors. However, the gaming hardware used must not flare up. Thus, NZXT introduced the GRID+ digital fan controller and the Kraken X41 and X61 liquid coolers to improve system performance.
The first of its kind, the Kraken liquid coolers come with a variable speed pump that lets you control its noise without compromising its function. Both the X41 and the X61 can cover a wider surface area to regulate the temperature of computer hardware more efficiently. Likewise, both liquid coolers come with extended tubing for easier installation and sleeved cables for better airflow.

The Kraken X41 and the Kraken X61 come with relevant software that helps users control fan speeds, pump speeds and HUE LED lighting. The program also aids in monitoring the device’s performance to maximize its functionality. The new NZXT liquid coolers are also compatible with the CAM monitoring application which offers real-time monitoring even through smartphones.
Meanwhile, the GRID+ digital fan controller serves as a universal control for all NZXT coolers. The GRID+ has six fan channels and is also equipped with Over/Under Voltage and Short Circuit Protection. Just like the Kraken, this device can also work with CAM which can then monitor irregular fan speeds, disconnected fans or excessive voltage use.

Once any of the Kraken closed loop coolers and the GRID+ have been installed into a computer, the corresponding CAM application will automatically update to show performance reports for the new devices. To know more about CAM or to download the application, you can visit http://cam.nzxt.com.
The Kraken X41 and the Kraken X61 are available at the NZXT Armory store for $29.99, $109.99 and $139.99 respectively. Both Kraken coolers come with a six-year warranty while the GRID+ has a two-year warranty. Also, the GRID+ digital fan controller package comes with a power cable, a USB cable, two four-pin fan Extension Y cables, five cable ties, a Velcro strap and a user’s manual. By the way, the X40 and X60 are still both available locally for Php3,800 and Php5,300 respectively.
