|Lenovo Unveils the ThinkPad 8 Tablet|
Lenovo boosts its stake in business technology with the new ThinkPad 8 tablet powered by Windows 8.1 operating system.
This device combines portability and Think’s tradition of excellent performance as testified by the 11 awards that it took home from the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show. The ThinkPad 8 has a 1900x1200 pixel display and a battery that can last for up to eight hours on a single charge.
Despite weighing just 0.5 kilograms, the Lenovo ThinkPad8 packs several features that will delight professionals and business movers. First off, this versatile device allows users to switch between desktop, laptop, tablet, and tent modes. Data safety is not a problem thanks to its features like TPM 2.0, Workplace Join, Mobile Device Management and the VPN auto-trigger.
Meanwhile, its fast quad-core processor allows multi-tasking between applications and programs. It is also equipped with Microsoft Office Suite that will come in handy when important documents need to be created or viewed. When on its desktop mode, the tablet can be connected with two monitors to allow the access to two separate programs.
Finally, the ThinkPad 8 has a Quickshot cover which makes the taking of photos easier through its 8 MP back camera and 2 MP front camera. The cover can also be shifted to provide various viewing angles for watching videos or making online chats. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is available at Lenovo Exclusive Stores, the Think Exclusive Store at SM North EDSA, and other Lenovo Corporate Resellers nationwide for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of Php25,490.
