|Zomato Updates iPhone App for iOS8|
Zomato releases updates for its iPhone app to make it iOS8-compatible. The same updates will be available for Android and Windows Phone.
These updates include the check-in feature at a restaurant and a customizable favorite restaurant section. Likewise, user activity will be shown on a Food Journey chronological timeline wherein they can highlight the most memorable parts of the experience.
Also, the check-in feature improves the app’s interaction feature by allowing users to share photos and reviews easily. It also allows Zomato app users to tag those who are dining with them.
To improve the app’s search features, a bookmark function has been added to enable users to save their favorite restaurants or keep in mind the dining spots that they want to try in the future.
All of these updates have been fused into a better app design which makes it easier to use. Zomato provides in-depth information for over 260,000 restaurants in over 15 countries. It is estimated to be used by over 25 million monthly users globally. Founded in 2008 by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah, the company is now present in over 100 cities over six continents.
