|GameStart 2014 in Singapore Was Success!|
Last October 25 and 26 at the Suntec City Convention Center, Eliphant Pte Ltd conducted GameStart 2014, the most prestigious gaming convention in Southeast Asia.
The event lived up to its billing, thanks to the impressive roster of computer games on display as well as other side events for over 12,000 visitors. For starters, the first 300 visitors each day were given a random loot bag which can contain limited edition T-shirts, copies of games, posters, and other exclusive items.
Likewise, all of the ticket holders qualified for the daily draw wherein they could win prizes such as consoles, games and gaming accessories. To make the event viral, SingTel also provided fiber broadband Internet and live game streams for everyone.

One of the main exhibitors at GameStart 2014 is Sony Computer Entertainment HK which showcased over 30 games for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. Included in the list are The Order 1886, Guilty Gear Xrd, Bloodborne and Until Dawn which are set to be released next year. Sony even invited the producers of Bloodborne and Freedom Wars for the event. They even gave special items such as PS Vita games, T-shirts and Xperia Z3s for eager customers. Meanwhile, 2K Asia also presented a preview of their shooter game Evolve.
GameStart 2014 also features an area called the Founders Base wherein the local community can promote the games that they have developed. The consoles shown are the Nintendo Famicom, the Super Famicom, the Sega Megadrive, the Sega Dreamcast, the Playstation 1, the Neo-Geo MVS, and the Atari 2600.
Outside of gaming, Cadaq also presented its 3D scanning and model printing technology. If that was not amazingly enough, you would marvel more at the fact that some of their designers are deaf and they have worked closely with the Singapore Association of the Deaf. They were also the sponsors of the Game On! GameStart Cosplay Competition. Speaking of cosplay, renowned cosplayers Yasemin Arslan of Australia and Yuegene Fay of Thailand were also invited to GameStart 2014.
Finally, Xmashed Gear provided the official apparel for the event and they featured new designs from their already impressive roster. One of the most exciting designs it the GameStart 2014 T-shirt which features Alyse, the event’s mascot. Overall, there are just so many things to rave for about GameStart 2014.
