INTRODUCTION:
MiPow is a well-known company producing very unique products, this time they brought the power bank to a whole new level, meet the MiPow Juice Sync 5200.
The MiPow Juice Sync 5200 is a smart Bluetooth-enabled external battery pack, with an exclusive app you can monitor its remaining capacity, temperature and distance. In addition, it also has a built-in lightning connector that can charge directly those Apple devices with lightning port.

The MiPow Juice Sync 5200 has a hidden charging connector, just push it out and it will reveal the Apple lightning connector and male USB input connector. The former can be used to charge Apple device, namely iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, iPad 4th generation, iPad mini, iPod Touch 5th generation and iPod Nano 7th generation while the latter is used to recharge the power bank either through your computer or with a use of a charger.
The female USB port below the status light can be used to charge other gadgets, just be sure to use the supplied charging cable of your device. The MiPow Juice Sync 5200 power bank also allows to charge two devices at the same time, e.g. iPhone 6 via lightning port and Galaxy Note 4 via the USB output port. Plus, it supports charging and recharge at the same time.
To maximize its potential, download and install the Juice Sync application from the App Store then pair it with your Apple device. With this app, you can monitor its battery level and remind you to recharge it when it is already on a critical level, also it alerts you when the battery temperature is over 55 degree Celsius to ensure safety and lastly the app prompt you when it is far or out of range.
To test its performance, I used my O+ Air that has 2000mAh battery and the MiPow Juice Sync 5200 can charge it twice (from 15%) and still have one light remaining (5% to 30%).
CONCLUSION:
MiPow Juice Sync 5200 Power Bank has a very unique design that made it won the prestigious International Forum Design 2014. For a sleek body, it has a built-in lightning connector for charging Apple device plus an extra USB output port for other gadget making it compatible for tons of devices, not only that you can charge two mobile phones at the same time. What is more amazing is that it is the first Bluetooth app-enabled external battery pack!
