|Huawei Philippines ICT Roadshow 2015, Building A Better Connected Philippines|
A few days ago, Huawei Technologies Philippines Inc. held its ICT Roadshow 2015 at Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City with the theme "BUILDING A BETTER CONNECTED PHILIPPINES".
Huawei executives as well as experts from the government sectors, namely Monchito B. Ibrahim, Deputy Executive Director of Department of Science and Technology - Information and Communications Technology Office (DOST-ICTO) and Atty. Gamaliel Asis Cordoba, Commissioner of National Telecommunication Commission (NTC), gave their respective messages and insights regarding the country's ongoing ICT trends, challenges faced by different industries and current best practices and solutions.

Speaking of solutions, Ron Raffensperger, director of Huawei Data Center Solutions, unveiled the 'Oceanstor Version 3.0'. It is Huawei's latest converged storage solution, which supports multiple platforms and protocols in a single chassis. This latest innovation is also compatible with existing equipments, thus, saving time and resources during the deployment period.

Moreover, Mark Wu, Director of Huawei Enterprise Networking Marketing, also discussed the Huawei’s Agile Network 3.0. It is their newest networking architecture solution that enables different enterprises to have the best possible Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure that can be used in the areas of manufacturing, production and logistics.
Aside from the enterprise offerings, the annual ICT roadshow also showcased the latest products of Huawei's consumers division, such smartphones (Huawei Mate 7, P8, P8 Lite), tablets (MediaPad M2, X2) and wearables (TalkBand B2).
