Globe Telecom, the purveyor of digital lifestyle in the country, brings a whole new way of entertainment to the homes of Filipinos with the Google Chromecast.

The Chromecast is a small device that lets you stream multimedia contents from your smartphones, tablets and computers to your television. It is incredibly easy to set-up, all you have to do is plug it to the High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port of your TV and the other end to a USB port or power source. Take note that it must be connected to the same network as your gadget.

The apps and services that are compatible with the Chromescast are as follows, but not limited to:

  • TV and Movies - HOOQ, DailyMotion, AllCast, Flixster, CrunchyRoll
  • Sports - NBA, Red Bull TV, MLB
  • Games - Monopoly Dash, Just Dance, Catch Phrase Blitz, Wheel of Fortune, Scrabble Blitz
  • Photos and Videos - YouTube, Pixlr, Chrome, Picture Case, Lyve
