|Fujifilm X-Pro2 Unveiled in the Philippines, Yours for Php90,990|
A few days after its official unveiling in Japan, Fujifilm introduced its latest flagship in the Philippines, meet the newest, coolest and much-anticipated APS-C mirrorless camera system to date, the Fuji X-Pro2.
The Fujifilm X-Pro2 is the successor of the X-Pro1, which was released way back in 2012 or more than three years in the making. The X-Pro2 boasts the world's first and only Hybrid Multi Viewfinder, a combination of both electronic viewfinders and optical viewfinders, which gives the users the ability to see the subject's natural view as well as check the necessary settings before triggering the shutter, such as exposure and white balance.
This premium interchangeable lens camera also features a newly developed 24.3MP x-Trans CMOS III sensor, up from its predecessor's 16.3MP. When paired with the new high-performance X-Processor Pro Engine, it is able to produce great quality images with a high degree of sharpness, near-perfect color rendition and much lower noise. Other key features include high sensitivity range that can be expanded up to 1SO 51200, faster 273-point autofocus with 77 PDAF, up to 8fps continuous shooting, Full HD video recording at 60fps with 36Mbps bit rate, dual UHS-II SD card slots, built-in WiFi, 3-inch 1.62m-dot LCD monitor and weather-sealed body.
The Philippines is the first market outside Japan that witnessed the Fujifilm X-Pro2, it is now up for pre-order for Php90,990. There will also a special dealer promotion at the PhotoWorld Manila, which will be held on January 28 to February 2, where you can bundle a 35MM F2 lens for an additional Php10,990 or 10,000 pesos discount from its original SRP of Php20,990 plus a free leather case worth Php5,290.
