This new Dell PowerEdge R830 model has a 2U rack server form factor, ideally packaged for mainstream and mid-market customers. Specifically designed for database applications and VDI environments, this four-socket server portfolio offers the company’s best together with the power of the Intel® Xeon® processor E5-4600 v4 product family.
Now powered with four processors and up to 48 DIMMS, the PowerEdge R830 is now providing customers the flexibility and scalability for their infrastructure and giving them a more secure environment needed for their business to prosper.

Dell PowerEdge R930
This new Dell PowerEdge R930 model has utilized the hardware-enhanced capabilities of the new Intel® Xeon® processor E7-8800 v4 family like Intel® Run Sure Technology to ensure their customers fast response on their database applications and critical workload delivery. This upgrade provides Dell with three new world-record benchmarks on the SAP HANA® platform and SAP sales and distribution (SD) standard application benchmark.
Aside from these two upgrades, Dell is updating their PowerEdge FX2 and PowerEdge M1000e platforms with the PowerEdge FC830 and the PowerEdge M830 blade servers using the powerful Intel® Xeon® processor E5-4600 v4 family.
