|Google's Virtual Reality Platform Daydream to Kick Off Soon|
With virtual reality taking full swing, you can easily expect the majority of tech brands shifting their focus on the trend. As a matter of fact, Google is also planning to launch its VR Platform, Daydream, soon to stay ahead of the curve and let its line of Nexus smartphones ride in the VR bandwagon. That is if a report from Bloomberg holds true.
According to the news outlet, Google’s Daydream is just about ready to be released and is just waiting for a “few final touches to be made” before it gets out of the wild officially. Furthermore, the aforementioned fixes could be for the search engine giant’s partnership with streaming giant Hulu and, expectedly, YouTube stars for its exclusive content on its platform. The Daydream store will be stocked with a bevy of apps, shorts, as well as games to further Google’s expansion of the trend of virtual reality, and to make sure that it will at the top of it.

Google has been investing on virtual reality through the content its platforms offer. For one, there’s Google Cardboard and the search engine giant’s partnership with schools for its “Expeditions” that allow students to travel virtually anywhere. And there’s also virtual reality apps available in the Google Play Store for everyone with a VR headset to enjoy.
