|Huawei to Announce Two Handsets at IFA 2016; New Series to be Named 'Nova'|
Huawei has been on the offensive ever since it gained massive success with the P9 variants and the Nexus 6P, and the company doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon. Now, Huawei plans on holding a pre-event at IFA in Berlin, where it plans on unveiling two new handsets that will be on a fresh, new series.
Huawei Device CEO Richard Yu has teased two new handsets on Weibo, which will both be unveiled on September 1st. It’s still unofficially confirmed, but it seems Huawei will be going with the Nova name for its new series. What’s more, the new line-up would most likely be targeted at women, if recent rumors prove to be on point.

As far as the design cues and hardware specifications go, we’re still in the dark regarding the teaser. But if we were to deduce from the teaser images, both devices will seem to have metal frames, and possibly, 2.5D glass panels to add to the premium taste if Huawei is aiming for women as the target market for its new devices.
Anyway, September 1st is only two days away, so it’s best we wait for the official announcement when Huawei unveils it in Berlin.
