|Sony Unveils Handsets to Support Android 7.0 Nougat|
If you’ve been a Sony loyalist and you simply refuse to switch to another brand, then it probably goes without saying that you’re wondering if you’re going to get the much anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update. If that’s the case, you’re now in the clear as Sony finally unveils the handsets that will support the latest version of Android.
However, most of the smartphones that will support the update are flagships and the ones that have come out in recent months. Based on Sony’s roadmap, the update will be available for handsets such as the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xpiera Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, and the Xperia Z5 Premium. Furthermore, the recently announced Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA ultra, and Xperia X Performance handsets will also receive the updates.

There’s still no word as of the moment if Sony will also be bringing the said update to lower-end and previous devices, but we can only hope. The Japanese smartphone manufacturer says that they will be sharing more soon, and it’s a helpful note that it will, indeed, happen.
Android 7.0 Nougat will bring a slew of upgrades to the interface as well as bring major security improvements to the platform.
