|Google Pixel C|
Rumors have begun surfacing that Google will use the Pixel name instead of the established Nexus brand for its own line-up of smartphones. While that rumor has been going on for quite some time now, Google does have its own Pixel C tablet that seeks to be a well-rounded portable device for personal computing on mobility. Now, new rumors suggest that Huawei is also entering the tablet segment with Google again to create another Pixel tablet that could succeed last year’s Pixel C.
The info comes from reliable tipster Evan Blass, who also goes by the handle “@evleaks” on Twitter. Blass says that there will be a Google tablet made by Huawei that features a 7-inch display and 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, it will be released before the end of the year.

Details are still sparse at the moment, but with the Nexus name out of the statement, it’s quite possible that Google will indeed bring in the Pixel branding. Also, if it’s any indication, the search engine giant did release the Pixel C alongside the two Nexus devices last year at the same time. If we were to work on that, we can assume that it will be unveiled with the two would-be Nexus devices that have also been rumored to carry the Pixel branding.
