|Huawei’s Mate 9 Flagship to Have Leica-branded Shooters|
Huawei has been on the roll for its releases in the past couple of months, which is probably the reason why the company is on its best standing as of late. From the Nexus 6P to the Leica-branded P9 smartphones, the Chinese company has easily earned a named for itself. However, do keep in mind that Huawei still has more hidden up its sleeve, and if its annual release is any indication, we’re about to see the Mate 9 flagship before the year closes in. The latest news about it suggest that the company plans to add in Leica’s branding, and it will also feature a dual camera setup with optical image stabilization thrown in the side.
The report comes from a Chinese analyst who suggests that the upcoming flagship’s main camera assemble will feature the venerable Leica branding. However, unlike devices before it such as the Huawei P9, P9 Plus, and Honor 8, the company will bake in optical image stabilization to set itself apart from other handsets in its portfolio that feature Leica’s name.

Huawei usually goes with its homegrown chipsets with its flagships, and it looks like Kirin 960 will first see light on the flagship. Of course, EMUI presumably on Android 7.0 Nougat will also be in tow. Let’s see how Huawei will deal it once the Mate 9 gets official.
