Netflix Rolls Out New Update That Allows Saving Content on SD Card for Offline Viewing

Netflix has just released its latest Android update, allowing its users to download content and conveniently save it on the SD card for offline viewing.

Users wouldn't have to worry about quickly running out of storage, as they will now have two options for their download location. They can either keep it on their internal storage or save it on their SD card for more storage space. The options are located in the app settings.

It was only last November 2016 when the movie streaming app rolled out an update that allows users to download content so they can watch it later even if they are offline.

By doing this, Netflix has given users the pleasure of watching their favorite movies and TV series anytime and anywhere in the world. Long drives, long distance plane travels, and even while staying in remote places, you now wouldn't have to miss the latest episodes of your favorite television shows.

The new update varies with devices. The SD Card support, according to Netflix, might still be unavailable on all devices. But, aside from the new Download Location app setting, the update also contains bug fixes.

Netflix is available for free download on Google Play and App Store.
