ZTE Blade V8 Lite Receives WiFi Certification; To Run on Android 7.0 Nougat

It appears that ZTE will soon be launching a lower-end version of the Blade V8 and Blade V8 Pro, the new Blade V8 Lite, which will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system as listed on the WiFi certification that was recently issued by WiFi Alliance.

The new Blade V8 Lite is coming with a more updated operating system like the Blade V8 than the Blade V8 Pro with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which went on sale for about Php11,400 in the US last January 19.

The Blade V8 and V8 Pro were launched at CES 2017 in early January. The complete specs and availability of ZTE's latest smartphone, however, haven't been revealed yet, but we're expecting it to come with lower-end specs than the other two devices that were first released.

As of now, all we know is that it will support LTE connection and will run on the latest Android OS. Although we're wondering how ZTE will package the new Blade V8 Lite, since the regular V8 already has low-end specs. One thing is for sure, though. This one would definitely come at a cheaper price.

Customers looking for an affordable smartphone and are followers of the ZTE brand must watch out for this device.
