Infinix Zero 4 Plus Hands-on and Initial Impression; A Big Winner?
Infinix Mobility’s presence in the country has been continuously growing since it started bringing its products to the local smartphone market. Previously, we had a quick look at the Infinix Zero 4. Now, we’re here to give you our hands-on and initial impression on its sibling, the Zero 4 Plus.
The Infinix Zero 4 Plus is available at Lazada with an introductory price of Php15,990. As of writing, the device is marked sold out, but will be available in stocks soon. Same with the Zero 4, the Zero 4 Plus is locally available in champagne gold and grey colors.

Leaning more to the phablet side, the Infinix Zero 4 Plus flaunts an aluminum unibody design with a 5.98-inch Full HD display that delivers vibrant images. Same with the Zero 4, the Zero 4 Plus has on-screen navigation buttons. The screen might feel a bit too huge, though, particularly if you’re someone who have small hands and usually puts phones in his or her pocket. It does fit inside, but you can slightly feel its bulge.

When you flip the device over, you’ll see the impressive 20.7-megapixel f/2.0 Sony IMX230 rear camera with laser auto focus and LED flash. It slightly extends above the surface on the back, though, making it a bit prone to scratches. Below it is the fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, located at the bottom are the speakers, microphone, and micro-USB port.
Infinix Zero 4 Plus' Left
On the left side is the hybrid card tray, which can house two micro SIMs on dual standby. With this setup, however, you’ll have to sacrifice one SIM to expand your storage via micro SD card.

On the right, you’ll find the power button and volume rocker.
Infinix Zero 4 Plus' Benchmark
The Infinix Zero 4 Plus houses a powerful 2.1GHz MediaTek MT6797M Helio X20 deca-core chipset with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. Infinix seems to have finally chosen an accurate chipset for this handset. It scored 85,171 on AnTuTu benchmark, which is double the score of its Zero 4 counterpart.
This phablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Infinix' very own XOS skin on top. It also has several sensors such as proximity and gyroscope sensors.
The Infinix Zero 4 Plus offers a strong build that definitely feels premium. Add the impressive camera specs and accurate choice of chipset, and this one can easily persuade a lot of buyers to purchase it. No wonder it has quickly sold out. We would love to see more improvements. But, based on the short time we managed to play with this device, we'd say this one's quite a worthy buy.
