|Xiaomi Redmi 5 Spotted at TENAA; Sports 5-Inch Display and 4000mAh Battery|
A new Xiaomi phone just passed through TENAA, and the device, which has an MAE136 model name, could possibly be the new Redmi 5 smartphone.
Due to the device's dimensions and overall appearance, the new smartphone is believed to be the latest Xiaomi Redmi 5. The alleged Redmi 5 has a T-style design with a fingerprint scanner found on the back. It sports a metal build with rounded corners, and comes with a 5-inch touchscreen display. It also has dimensions of 139.24 x 69.94 x 8.65mm.

According to the leaked TENAA document, the new Xiaomi MAE136 phone will have a dual-standby, dual-SIM support. The battery capacity has also been revealed at 4000mAh. Its features are similar to the Redmi 4, making it more believable that this next device is going to be its successor.
The previous Xiaomi Redmi 4 also sports a 5-inch display, with a fingerprint scanner on the back and 4100mAh battery capacity.
Only a few details of Xiaomi's new phone have been disclosed, so we still have to wait for other specs like the processor and memory configuration to be revealed, and we're hoping that they will be revealed soon.
