|Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Leak Shows 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM and 4500mAh Battery|
Xiaomi might soon be unveiling what appears to be the new Redmi Pro 2, as shown on a product poster that recently surfaced on a Chinese micro-blogging website, Weibo.
According to the leak, the Redmi Pro 2 will be sporting a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 camera that has a 1/2.55" sensor and large 1.4µm pixels with Dual Pixel autofocus. Gone were the dual camera setup found on the previous Redmi Pro that only got released in China.
Another detail revealed on the poster include the front and back design of the new Xiaomi device, which shows a brushed metal finish. There's also a large 4500mAh battery.

Also, the device shown is said to come in two variants: one with 4GB and 64GB memory configuration and another with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The leak didn't mention anything about the processor or display, but several guesses point to a high-end MediaTek chipset.
We still have no word yet on the availability of the new Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, but the leak shows that the 4GB version will retail at CNY1,599 (about Php11,600), while the 6GB version will be priced at CNY1,799 (about Php13,000).
If said prices were right, then the Redmi Pro 2 would be cheaper than the original Redmi Pro, which has a retail price of CNY2,000 or about Php14,500.
