ASUS has started rolling out its new OTA update to the ZenFone 3 Max, which ushers in several changes to the device, including a new power saving app and optimizations.
Arriving as software version 220.127.116.11, the new update installs an application called ASUS Power Master that is said to excel the battery performance of the ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL), which already has a whopping 4100mAh battery capacity.

In addition, the app also brings in various optimizations to give the device a better user experience. The latest update optimizes the device's fingerprint sensor sensitivity, as well as enhances its camera and touch panel display performance.

Moreover, the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) will now have an updated PLMN ID list and LED notification effects during charging, as well as updated fixes for the customer service call issue in Italy.

The update has already begun appearing on several ZenFone 3 Max devices. For a manual update, you can go to the Settings menu of your phone, choose About device, and check System updates.
