Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) is set to head the Philippine delegation exhibiting at CommunicAsia2017, the largest industry event for ICT in Asia, which will be held in Singapore.

Ten Philippine companies will be participating in the exhibit. Startups Taxumo and FAME Aviation app as well as big companies such as Advanced World Systems, Alliance Software, Inc., Exist Software Labs, Inc., PLDT Enterprise, Red Core Solutions, Sutherland Global Services, THINKBIT Solutions and Xurpas Enterprise, In., will be present to feature their latest innovations, products, and service offerings.

DICT is also set to host a half-day seminar dubbed as "Philippines Connect" to address the upcoming changes and opportunities in the Philippine ICT industry. Meanwhile, speakers at the CommunicASia2017 summit include PLD Chief Technology and Information Advisor, Joachim Horn, and NSR Research Director, Jose Del Rosario.

Recognizing technology’s growing impact on the region’s economy, CommunicAsia, as well as EnterpriseIT, will enable the digital transformation of businesses and cities across Asia.

Aside from CommunicAsia2017, BroadcastAsia2017 will take center stage with its presentation regarding the latest end-to-end solutions as Asian broadcasters begin to transition to IP-based systems. There will also be talks about VR and OTT. For the Philippines, the speakers will be ABS-CBN Customer Relationship Management Division Head, Richmond Ezer Escolar, and Filipino director, Pedring Lopez.

The summit is held annually with 1,700 exhibitors from 58 countries and 38 international pavilions, including the Philippines, that are participating this year. CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia 2017 will span 65,000sqm across Marina Bay Sands and Suntec Singapore, and is expected to receive 48,000 attendees.
