Acer recently revealed the newest addition to their growing range of smart devices, the Leap Ware smartwatch, a wearable piece of tech that allows users to manage their personal fitness goals while staying connected with friends and family.

The Acer Leap Ware is equipped with the MediaTek MT2523 chipset plus MT2511 bio-sensing chip housed in a well-polished circular stainless steel frame. Through its array of sensors with advanced algorithms, it can monitor tons of body activities, such as stress or fatigue levels, stamina, heart rate, and even exposure to UV rays.

The watch has a simple and minimalist design that features a 44mm face with Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ on top, a well-known tough material that delivers superior scratch-resistant capability as well as optical clarity, and touch sensitivity. It also boasts an IPX7 rating, which means it can withstand exposure to water up to 1 meter deep for up to half an hour.

It offers long uptime and can easily last up to three to five days. There is also a built-in LED light that illuminates at the press of a button, giving users additional safety when jogging at night. In addition, the bands are removable, and interchangeable not only with Acer's products, but also compatible with any 20mm watch band.

The Leap Ware works both with Android or iOS devices through Liquid app. Once connected, users can receive important notifications, like who is calling or texting. Moreover, all the data it collected can be synchronized with the phone for better understanding of fitness activities.

The Acer Leap Ware is available in Navy Blue or Light Brown with an SRP of USD139, and expected to hit the stores on July.
