BlackBerry Phone with Snapdragon 625/626 Chipset, 1080p Display Spotted

BlackBerry Phone with Snapdragon 625/626 Chipset, 1080p Display Spotted

A new BlackBerry phone carrying the model number BBD100-1 has been spotted at a User Agent Profile (UAProf) on one of TCL's websites.

TCL is the company currently manufacturing BlackBerry phones, and the new phone spotted on one of its websites is said to sport a display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 16:9, revealing that the device might only have a touchscreen display and won't come with a physical keyboard, unless BlackBerry got some other ideas.

In addition, the BlackBerry BBD100-1 is listed with a MSM8953 processor, which gives us a reason to believe that it might come with either a Qualcomm Snadragon 625 chipset or a Snapdragon 626 SoC. The former is the same one found inside the KEYone, a phone announced in February this year and the one pictured above.

Details of the new BlackBerry phone are still vague as of the moment, but the sudden appearance of the device proves that the company is working on a new phone that might get released in the next couple of months or maybe year.
