It is already second half of 2017, and we all know that during this time, smartphone brands are starting to gear up for the 'ber' season. CloudFone wants to be a step ahead by announcing several handsets at their awesome event earlier today, one of which is the Excite Prime 2.

The CloudFone Excite Prime 2 is a follow-up to their very successful Excite Prime. Just like its predecessor, it still packs a 5.5-inch display with IPS panel and HD resolution, but this time around there is a layer of Corning Gorilla Gass on top. On the inside, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using a micro SD card through its dedicated slot.

But, it is not just about processing power, the Excite Prime 2 is made for those who love taking selfies. The front-facing camera packs an 8MP resolution with f/2.0 aperture accompanied by a softlight LED flash. It does not have two selfie cameras, but CloudFone ensures users will get awesome shots using the portrait mode, wherein photos taken will have blur the background or commonly known as bokeh effect. Meanwhile, the rear camera is equipped with 13MP Sony IMX135 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and paired with LED flash.

Other known specs are dual SIM with LTE connectivity, 3000mAh battery, USB OTG function, and runs on Android Nougat.

It will be available this July, but the specific date when is still yet to be revealed. Price wise, this can be yours for Php5,999!
