Samsung Galaxy Note8 Leaked Specs Reveal Exynos 8895 SoC, 6GB RAM and 64GB Storage

Weeks before its official unveiling in New York City on August 23, alleged specs of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note8 has been leaked, revealing a 6.3-inch high-end device.

The Galaxy Note8, according to the latest report from famous leakster Evan Blass of VentureBeat, is going to be an IP68-certified phone with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440. As can be seen on the renders, it will look similar to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ duo but with more squared-off corners, which is typical to a Galaxy Note handset.

Same with the S8 duo, the Note8 is expected to come with an Exynos 8895 SoC (Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 in the US) with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card. Other specs include a 3000mAh battery and a USB Type-C port.

In terms of imaging, Samsung's latest Note device is said to sport a dual-rear camera setup with two 12MP sensors, the primary being wide-angle with a f/1.7 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus while the telephoto lens will have an aperture of f/2.4 with 2x optical zoom. Meanwhile, at the front, there will be an 8-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 autofocus lens.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is expected to come in Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, and Deep Sea Blue colors at nearly EUR1,000 or about 60K in the Philippines. This leak hasn't been officially confirmed by Samsung, so changes in specs and other details should be expected.
