We have seen AR achieved in the past few years. Now, Lenovo is taking it one step further with the first pair of Augmented Reality glasses. You know what's cooler? It is Star Wars themed! Wicked!

During the IFA 2017, Lenovo unleashed the Mirage, the first AR glasses, along with their Jedi Challenges. Although the demo is limited with the ability to duel Kylo Ren, the experience is complete. The AR glasses will allow you to see Kylo Ren's holographic image while still being able to see your surroundings.

There is also a Playstation move-like lightsaber controller that feels really authentic since it has a pretty good heft to it. The design is on point. Once you wear the AR glasses and calibrate your light saber, the sound and start up that we know and love happens before your eyes.

This is something that will really bring the Star Wars geek out of you. You will be able to battle Sith Lords like Darth Maul and Darth Vader as well. Lenovo promises that the AR glasses will be more comfortable to use compared to VR headsets. In addition to that, you do not need to wear any earphones to hear the audio as it comes out of the Mirage itself.

You will still need to insert your smartphone into the Mirage for it to function just like in VR headsets. More games and features are coming in the future like the holochess and more Sith Lords to fight. Here's hoping for a Boba Fett shooting game or flight simulators!

The Lenovo Mirage will retail for USD199 which roughly converts to Php10,200.

Are you ready to use the Force? Let us know what you think about the first AR glasses from Lenovo!
