| ASUS ROG Announces the Arrival of Ryzen-powered Strix GL702ZC in PH |
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the Strix GL702ZC – the world’s first gaming laptop that features the AMD Ryzen 7 processor and an 8-core computing power with multithreading technology.
Designed to handle heavy workloads and media consumption, the Strix GL702ZC can be specified with up to 17.3-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS display with 178-degree wide viewing angle and AMD FreeSync display technology. Meanwhile, this display will be available in various configurations, including 1080p variants at 75Hz and 120Hz.
In partnership with AMD, the gaming laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor, making it as the industry’s first to do so. It boasts 8-core computing power and 16 threads clocked at 3.7GHz. Also, it is equipped with AMD Radeon RX580 graphics with 4GB DDR5 VRAM to support latest games and graphics-intensive virtual reality (VR) applications.

Will be available later this month, the AMD Ryzen 7 variant is priced at Php99,995, while the AMD Ryzen 5 is tagged at Php84,995.
