| Sun Now Has LTE Coverage; Offers Free Upgrade to LTE-ready SIM at Any Sun Shop Nationwide |
Sun has good news to its long-time consumers, as it upgraded its network to LTE, allowing their subscribers to have a better mobile experience.
“Powered by Sun’s newest and fastest LTE network and our new data offer, our customers can now go online 24/7 and enjoy more ways to connect with family and friends, get their daily dose of digital content, and access productivity tools online, making for a leveled-up mobile experience,” Miriam Choa, Sun Prepaid Business Head, addressed.
The company’s enhanced network capacity and coverage come with new data deals, too. Sun now offers Sun Big Time Data 70, which comes with 1GB data, unlimited texts to all networks, and 30 minutes of calls to Sun. The promo is valid for 7 days for only Php70. To register, simply text BDATA70 to 247.
Sun also revealed that consumers can upgrade to their LTE-ready SIM for free, without having to change their old prepaid card number. All they have to do is visit any Sun Shop nationwide, and swap their old Sun Prepaid 3G SIM.
Meanwhile, Sun will facilitate the LTE upgrade of its postpaid subscribers within the month.
