The X-E3 is the brand’s new touchscreen-enabled mid-range mirrorless camera that boasts a compact and lightweight design. The 24-megapixel camera is equipped with 3.0-inch touchscreen-enabled monitor that doubles as a controller, too. In fact, Reid is impressed with this feature.

“The biggest thing I've noticed is the fact that there's no D-Pad. This is a step towards to the future of cameras. It's all touchscreen now. It has less buttons, less confusing. It's more intuitive, just swipe up and up,” Reid, Fujifilm’s brand ambassador, said.

Also, Reid recommended this camera to photographers and enthusiasts who want to upload and transfer photos directly to their smartphones or other devices.

Meanwhile, two local young photographers – Magic Liwanag and Shaira Luna – have expressed their good feedbacks about the X-E3.

“I find myself using this camera often. The minimalist feel to it makes it pretty cool to use for traveling, the camera won't be too intimidating to hold or shoot with,” Liwanag admitted.

On the other hand, Luna said that she is now using the X-E3 for her work.

“I enjoy using it for my personal work, because aside from being small - thus allowing my hands to be free to do other things - I can easily adjust the settings in-camera to echo the nostalgic tones I often use in my stories. The image quality and ease of use of the X-E3 is what stands out,” Luna revealed.

Available in black and silver, the Fujifilm X-E3 is priced at Php50,900, body only. Consumers can buy it with the 23mm kit for Php64,990, while the 18-55mm kit is tagged at Php72,990.
