Just like other Fitbit devices, the Ionic can automatically track your steps, calories, floors climbed, and sleep stages. It can even see users’ cardio fitness level, and it helps them maintain their moments of calm, as well.

On top of those typical features, the device now sports new key features to better track user’s health and fitness. Users can even have a personal trainer through Fitbit Coach, giving them access on-device step-by-step instructions for 7 Min Workout, 10 Min Abs and Treasure Chest, and dynamic workouts based on user’s feedback.

As your fitness buddy, you can also automatically track your run with its new Run Detect feature. And with water resistance up to 50 meters, it features new Swim Exercise mode that tracks real-time laps, exercise duration and calories burned for pool swims.

The Ionic has 2.5GB of storage, as well, to let users store more than 300 songs on the device. Compatible with almost all smartphones, it will guide and motivate users, while making sure that they will still receive alerts when receiving call, text and calendar alerts, as well as notifications from apps like Facebook, Gmail, Instagram, Slack, and Snapchat.
