Maybe you have not heard the Arc Mobile brand, honestly I was not aware of them as well until I came across with their Kiosk at SM Dasmarinas. And to satisfy the curiosity out of me, I checked what they have to offer. Arc Mobile offerings are quite similar to local brands and the likes, they have basic phones, Android tablets and of course Android phones.
The Android gadgets are very interesting and one that really caught my attention is the Arc Mobile Nitro 500D. It is a 5-inch phablet powered by a Dual Core A9 MediaTek MT6577 processor with 512MB of RAM that only cost PHP 4,199 which I believe the cheapest on the market with similar specs.
The screen resolution is only WVGA that translates to 187ppi, it is also equipped with a 5MP BSI main camera and 2000mAh battery. It will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean of out the box.
Key Specs:
- Dual SIM, Dual Standby
- 5" capacitive WVGA (800x480)
- Android Jelly Bean 4.1
- 1GHz Cortex-A9 Dual Core CPU, PowerVR SGX531 GPU MediaTek MT6577 chipset
