Lenovo unveiled another flagship smartphone at the IFA in Berlin, the IdeaPhone S960 or commonly known as Vibe X. The Chinese phone packs a 5-inch IPS screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with Full HD resolution, MediaTek MT6589T chipset with four cores clocked at 1.5GHz each, PowerVR SGX544MP GPU and 2GB of RAM. It will be available with either 16GB or 32GB onboard storage.
The Vibe X is only 6.9mm thick with premium polycarbonate body and weighs only 121 grams. The imaging department employs a 13MP shooter at the back which can record 1080p videos and a 5MP 84 degree wide angle front facing camera. It will run on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 out of the box with Lenovo customization on top.
Pricing and availability are still unknown, but I believe it will come in the Philippines like most of their products do. Specs wise it is quite similar to the high-end device from our local fruit phone company and if it will have a right price tag it would be a great option for the local buyers.
