MyPhone officially announced their latest budget friendly smartphone - the Agua Storm. It packs a 4-inch screen powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor for a price tag of Php2,988.

Initial Specs:

• Dual SIM dual standby
• 4" capacitive touchscreen display
• Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
• 1.3GHz dual core Cortex-A7 CPU, Mali-400 GPU, Mediatek MT6572 Chipset
• 256MB RAM
• 512MB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via micro SD
• 3.2MP main camera + secondary camera
• WiFi
• 1600mAh battery

There will also be a free 8GB micro SD loaded with Pinoy Content version 3 bundled with every Storm unit. The main concerns here are the lack of 3G support and relatively low RAM.
