The Omega XL and the Diamond S2 have almost identical specifications, both uses the same MediaTek MT6582 chipset which has quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz each. They also have the same size of internal storage which is 4GB as well as the amount of RAM which is 1GB.
Camera wise, the Cherry Mobile main shooter has slightly higher resolution than that of the Starmobile, but the latter has a BSI equipped sensor. When we talked about the secondary camera, the XL is way better (at least on paper) compared with the S2.
The biggest difference between the two is their price tag, the CM contender is 2000 pesos cheaper than its competitor. However, the SM comes with a free Magnetic Flip Case which is similar to that we have seen from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 case.

Isn't it obvious enough?

ReplyDelete"When we talked about the secondary camera, the XL is way better (at least on paper) compared with the S2." I may have to disagree with this one. Why? though XL would have an 8MP CAM it is the BSI that make the shots clearer especially in low light environment. MP mean resolution (meaning picture size) but BSI means clarity. Where would you need a large size picture if it's not clear enough. And one more thing one of the element of a quality picture is good lighting - thus BSI does the job. I guess it is up to guys to decide whether you go for SIZE or CLARITY? Just my 2cents.
ReplyDeletewould like to try this phone. :)
