Cherry Mobile, one of the prominent mobile brands in the Philippines launched two high end smartphones today in their We Are On Fire event in Hyatt Hotel Manila. Along with the Titan Pro, they also announced their first ever octa-core phone - the Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2.
The Cosmos Z2 sports a 5-inch full HD IPS OGS touchscreen display protected by an Asahi Dragontrail glass. At the heart of the phablet is a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, Mali-450 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage is 16GB plus an expansion slot that accepts up to 64GB micro SD card. All of this monstrous specs housed in a very sleek 7.59mm body.

Camera wise, there is an 18MP BSI auto focus main camera at the back capable shooting of 1080p videos at 30fps enhance by ClearMotion and Blur Free Technology while the front-facing one features an 8MP sensor.

This latest Cosmos flagship will run on Android 4.2 Jelly out of the box and upgradable to Android 4.4 Kit Kat this coming March. It will be available starting tomorrow for Php12,999 at Cherry Mobile concept store in SM North EDSA.
