Android tablets are scattered everywhere, there are various brands to choose from and each brand offers variety of models. However, we seldom see a 10-inch Android tablet in the market and as far as I know, the SKK Mobile has only one in their lineup - the Extreme.
It sports a 1.3GHz dual core processor, 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. There is also a dual SIM slot which supports full phone functionality with high speed data connectivity via 3G.
The camera department placed an 8MP sensor at the back accompanied by a single LED flash and a VGA shooter in the front for video calling. In addition to video player and FM radio, it also has an Analog TV tuner, making it one versatile multimedia tablet.

Big tablet like this means it is a power-hungry device and it is a good thing that SKK Mobile put a massive 6000mAh Li-Po battery to ensure that it can be operational for several hours without the need of your power outlet.
The box has the same appearance with most, if not all, SKK Mobile devices - a hard carton wrapped in a blue paper with the tablet picture in the front together with its key features. Removing the top cover will reveal a secondary cover, the bigger one is for the unit while the smaller one is for the accessories.

The retail package consists of the unit, charger with detachable USB cable, OTG cable, wired headset, cleaning cloth, manual and warranty card. The charger has a rated output of 2000mAh which in theory will charge the tablet for 3.9 hours (30% efficiency loss).

The tablet has a screen protector pre-installed, which is something nice to have since it does not have a scratch-resistant glass. The inclusion of the OTG cable is also a welcome addition to the package. If you are thinking of getting one, the SKK Mobile Extreme can be yours for Php6,999.
